been taken by Sutter county super
visors toward the construction of 'a
Sutter county highway section which
will establish a direct connection be
tween KnlghtB Landing, Yolo county,
and Maddock, in the heart of the
Sutter Basin.
The supervisors havo $97,200,

struction of this road, which approx
imates four and one-half miles.
