pupils from Miller Hill Dairy Herd
club fo the state fair, returned yes
terday morning. They made .the
trip from Salem to this place In 60
'hoars. They traveled day and
night.
The members ot the club gave a
demonstration ot milk testing at the
state fair which was witnessed by
a largo crowd. Tho different mem
bers' of tho club , answered the ques
tions the crowd asked. Thoso (rom
Miller Hill that were selected to go
were Miss Mary Schulmlor and
Gulda Robustellanlo. and Lee Ezell
(rom the Summers.. district.
, While In Salem, the members par
ticipated in a Judging, centest: The
score' was as follews: Outdo Robus
tell In I, 325 points; Mary Schulmelr,
.- 285 -points; Leo Ezell, 290 points.
This was considered a very good
score a scoro which the club can
be proud of.
Eight pupils of the Miller Hill
Dairy club are. going to make, dem

Within tho past two weeks, many

fornia for summer rango in tho na-
ftlonal forests of this stato have
been drlvon south to their wintor
homo by the. owners. Nearly all
the roads loading, south have boen
blocked at times by bunchoa rang
