Heavily brocaded silk draperies, potted palms and full length mirrors grace the salon of the royal suite. The decks are of teak-wood. Any resident of Washington round driv ing an automobile or truck without a special driver's license after Aug ust 1, 1921, will be arrested, Fred J. Dibble, state director of licenses, has announced. The licenses are required under a law designed re cently to check reckless driving. In applying for a license, a driver must glvo a description of himself, give his residence, tho number of his car and a description of It, and furnish certificates from two reput- ablo citizens attesting to his stand ing in tho community and bearing witness that ho has driven a car or truck for at least ten days.
