T H e Rainbow GOOD OMEN f i Last Saturday night Miss Ber nardine Hannon, a well-known em ployee of The Standard Oil Co. came breathlessly into our office in quiring for "Kelly" and hurriedly expressed a desire to buy some Cra ter Oil and Gas Stock. Miss Hannon is not naturally of an excitable nature and has hereto fore been rather pessimistic about Klamath Oil Stock Investments. She has for many months been investing her salary savings in Standard Oil Stock, and we were prompted to in quire the cause of this impulsive switch from "STANDARD OIL" to "CRATER OIL." The story she told us in reply was so interesting and so unusual, and coming from so cred itable a young lady we thought it worth repeating that others might take advantage of her hunch. Saturday night as Miss Hannon was driving into Klamath Falls from her home in the valley, she happened to glance in the direction of the Crater Oil Derrick; And there, extending heavenward from the foot of Derrick was the MOST BEAUTIFUL RAINBOW she had ever seen. There was not a cloud in sight and no natural explanation of the phenomena. There it was, like the hand of fortune pointing to the opportunity which is knocking at your door.
