He said: "Whenever I go into a town that is drilling for oil all the merchants, the .hotel men, all my friends and many strangers too, usually advise me and sometimes beg me to buy some of their local oil stocks. But here in Klamath I've known for more than a year that your local bankers, and busi ness men were spending their own money in Oil Development without asking the outside World to put up a dime, and have never been ad vised or begged to buy a share of Klamath Oil Stock. Just for that reason I am going to put $300 of my own savings into Oil Stock in Klamath Falls. I don't know a thing about oil; but I've watched these Klamath Bankers and business men for a good many years, and anything they bet their rr.oncy on looks good to me." A BUSINESS MAN'S WIFE said to us yesterday: "My husband got $15 last week from an unexpect ed source and very generously gave it to me. And I've studied ever since on just what to spend it for, -J have thought of a lot of things I need and would like to have, but decided that I could easily do without them all. My husband has bought some oil stock, and if it is a good bet for him ft's a good one for me too, so if you will sell so small an amount, I would like IS shares of Crater Oil and Gas Stock." We cheerfully ac comodated her, and HOPE SHE MAKES a million. A WORKING-MAN from Colo rado came into the office a few days ago and after buying a parcel of stock told us this story. "About a year ago I bought 6000 shares of Colorado-Crude stock at lie, cost ing me $660. In three weeks I sold out at 24Vz, receiving $1470, and thought I was very smart to take a profit of $810. But I was a fool. Not long ago 6000 shares of Colorado-Crude, sold' for $29,700."
