program with songs, readings and
recitations constituted Wednesday
evening's entertainment by tho
"Young nnd Old Literary Club" of
Dorris. Next week's program will
bo devoted principally to a debate
on the question, "Rosolved that
President Wilson's League of Na
tions plan for maintenance of peace
would bo a workable proposition."
The rival teams will be captained by
Park Sherman for tho affirmative
and Clifford Sevlts for the negative.
A delegation of local business men
are planning on making a trlp.t?
Macdoel where they will bo met by
residents of that section for the
purpose of discussing the proposed

George F. Dexter, a prominent
