the appropriation and In organisation
ot (ho control work.
Under the plan adopted control
work on Area No. 1. Including all
lands under the project west of Upper
Lake, will be under tba direction ot
J. F. Kimball.
Area No. 2, land on the Klamath
Indian reservation and south to the
untlmbered valleys, will be under the
Jurisdiction ot the Indian Serrlc ana
direction of P. P. Keen, of the irnr
eau of Entomology, who la expected
here from California the latter part
of this week.
Area No. 3, Including the Illy dis
trict and south into Modoc county
wes( of Goose Lake Valley, will be
under (he Jurisdiction of the Forest
Service and the direction ot Forest
Supervisor W. O. Dorhln, who will
arrive here some time this mon(h.
The (hreo area directors will con
stitute a board of control which wilt
manage the entire project. The tech
nical features of the work will be
under the jurisdiction ot the Bureau
ot Entomology while the administra
tive features will be entirely I the
hand ot the board ot control. Thl
arrangement gives the Indian Ser
vice, the Forest Service and the wrl
vote owners representation on. tfcev
board, and tho Bureau of KntoraelogT

In connection with the control
work, the Klamath Forest ProtecUve
association will be formed as succes

tion will meet on February 2, when
