fair at Salem and completed a tenta
tive comtltutlon for state organlta
tlon of tho bureaus, and their re
port Is being sent to the farm bur
taua of the state for consideration.
The object of the organisation In
cludes the following features.
To form a federation of the coun
ty farm bureaus of the state to coord
inate their activities, and formulate
policies for their management, ad
justing relationships, to secure ben
eficial legislation for the farmers,
aad promote Improvement In all
phases of agriculture, home econom
ies, and rural life.
It is proposed thst the objects of
federation be promoted by the adop
tion of a state program based on the
results of a careful study of farm
bureaus. These results will be for
mulated and directed by the execu
tive committee la cooperation with
tk extension department of the Ore
go Atricaltural College.
