Beginning August 15, 1920, the B. P. Lewis store will share its profits with
its customers who buy for cash. At the same time this will help to reduce the
H. C. L., for you know ns well as we do that cash buys goods cheaper than
credit. Cash will enable us to purchase our supplies at a much less figure
than at present, and we in turh can give our customers the benefit of this sav
ing. This we will do in three ways:
FIRST: We will give a five per cent discount
for cash purchases only purchases must amount to
one dollar or more.
SECOND: We will give our customers the
benefit of cheaper prices due to our ability to buy our '
goods from wholesale houses at less cost for cash
than credit.
THIRD: No Delivery or Auto Expenses. Reg
ular customers, who buy on the monthly payment
plan, will receive a two per cent discount, only in
case their bills are paid by the tenth day after they
become due. If not paid by the tenth after becoming
due, S', interest will be charged on the monthly
purchases.
All bills due on the account books Aug. 15, 1920, and not paid by August 25,
1920, will draw S',; interest from date of purchase to date of settlement. With
fairness to all customers, this rule will be applied impartially, without regard
to individuals. We trust that everyone affected by this new ruling will see to
it that his bills are settled in due time to avoid the added expense of interest.
