Reverend O. J.. Kjale Benson Is dis
qualified as a Republican candidate
tor congress In the seventh Minnesota
district In a decision tiled here by
Judge Albert Johnson, who heard th
suit contesting Kvale's nomination.
Congressman A. J, Volstead, who was
defeated by Krale In the primary last
June, Is declared In the decision "the
duly nominated candidate of the lie
publican party."

sider such a plan. Tho regents will

at that tlmo will decide whether they
will accept tjio offer of the housing
committee.

ent, according to members of the
university faculty present nt the
meeting, and there arc no other funds
which could bo used for such a move',
It Is thought quite likely that the
board will approve of such n move.
The cltltens voted unanimously to
pledge the board that they would
finance such a move.
At the meeting It was voted to Im
mediately make a survey of the city
to ascertain hew many homes could
be obtained for new members of the
faculty and for new students, and
how many property owners would
remodel old houses or build new ones.
