A girl clerk whose arms and body were wound with red tapo has Just led an unusual procession through Whitehall street, the homo" of gov ernment departments, to draw pub lic attention to the demands of wo men in government employ by a large number of women employed in the Civil Service, each of whom car ried a poster, while all were linked together with red tape. Inscriptions on the posters were "Fair Play for Women" and "No Favoritism in the Civil Service."
