C. F. Parker, president of tho la bor council nnd member of the Leg Ion, wns appointed In a resolution passed by the post nt a recent meet ing, to convey tho sentiments of the post to tho council. The resolution received by tho la bor council read: "That the adju tant notify Comrndo Parker that he Is a committee of ono to voice tho at titude of Klamath Post, No. 8, that wo tnko no part In clnss controversy and that we are not fighting organ ized labor." Robert Ross of Lexington, Neb., will run on both tickets. Tho liquor question was brought out by the democratic contest for control of tho state's delegation to tho San Francisco convention. Sup porters of William Jennings Bryan and Senator Hitchcock are the op posing forces. Each faction has a list of delegate candidates In the field and each has a candidate for nntlonnl committeeman. Mr. Hryan, opponent ot what he says are efforts to ralso tho legal limit of alcohol In beverages, Is seeking a place on the delegation and has announced that If he Is elected he will not support Senator Hitchcock because of his opposition to submission ot tho federal prohl bltionary amendment and for other reasons. Should tho state instruct for Mr. Hitchcock, Mr. Bryan has declared he would allow an alter nate to act In his place when the democratic convention begins bal loting on presidential nominees.
