Relief, which is making a compalgn
for' the county's 2500 quota this
week, baa received, a letter written
by the Rev. W. E. Rambo, former
pastor of the Christian church here,
now doing relief wor kin Armenia,
telling of the daily tragedies that
are part of the experience of the
workers. Here are two paragraphs:
''The day is tilled with tragic Btor
leg and experiences. Here Is ene: A
girl of 12 stands by her little frail
brotner of 8. She came from a town
not tar from Constantinople. The
Turks took the father, with about
100 other men, one night and drove
them two or three hours into the
country and killed them all. They
could not ever reocver the father's'
body. A month later, the mother,
'grandmother and three, little girls,
and the boy were put on the train
and taken, to Konla (ancient Icon-
1um), thence they were driven on
foot by night to a town half way to
Tarsus. During the night the mother
and two little girls were separated
from-the rest, and were never seen-j
