Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Fisher en tertalned at a dinner party last Sun day evening in honor of their sons, Robert and George, who left Mon day to resume their studies at the Oakland Polytechnic College. Miss Gertrude Parker was hoatt- to the Kedron Club Tuesday ever. Ing at her homo on Eleventh st-cet. The. evening was spent in laying plans for the club for the coming year, after which a social hour wis enjoyed and dainty refreshme-t served by the hostess. A very delightful evening was spent by Alcha chapter. Order ot tho Easter Star, Monday evening, when Mrs. McMurphy, worthy grand ma tron, and Mr. McMurphy wero guests of the chapter,, with Mrs. Uinbach of Lakevl'ew, associate grand matron ot the order. A delicious banquet was served during the pleasant so cial evening. While in the city Mr. and Mrs. McMurphy were guests ot Mrs. Klpp Van Riper and Miss Maud Baldwin. Dorothy May Browne is three to day and her mother, Mrs. C. B. Browne, is busy with the lovely par ty she is giving to a number of her baby friends at her homo on Ewauna Heights. T,hey are having games and delicious oakes and candles and wonderful gifts were showered upon the little hostess to gladden her heart for a long time.
