Democratic Senator Robinson of Ar
kansas advocated today a law to pro
hibit strike) and lockouts among
railroad employe!, In order to pro
tect, the public from transportation
tie-ups.
The Interstate Commerce subcom
mittee submitted to the senate a plan
for permanent railroad regulation,
prlvato ownerulilp and operation. In
the system under government con
trol strikes and lockouts would be
prohibited. Senator CummltiKS will
introduce a bill embodying the rec
ommendations of the subcommittee.
