PACIFIC COAST WILL
WITNESS MANY STOCK
SHOWS DURING FALL
The year 1919 marks the comple
tion of plans of a broad nature In
the organization of big livestock
shows for the Pacific Coast country.
No more constructive plans were
ever matured than those which havo
resulted In the permanent organiza
tion of these great expositions, these
educational Institutions which havo
proven wherever they exist n most
effective means of developing better
methods in agriculture and more
general prosperity as a direct result.
Five of theso shows hive been ar
ranged In a convenient circuit, begin
ning with the Livestock Show at Los
Angeles, Calif., October 18-26, and
the California International Live
stock show at San Francisco, Novem
ber 1-8, followed by tho Western
Royal Show at Spokane, Wash., No
vember 3-7, then the Northwest
Livestock Show at Lewiston, Idaho,
November 9-14, and finally tho Pp.
cine International, Portland, Novem
ber 17-22,
Tho working out of thlB circuit
and the placing of these show.s on n
permanent basis has required a vast
financial Investment and almost un
limited effort on the part of thoso
who conceived the plan and foresaw
Its possibilities. The establishing of
these shows will, as an Inevitable, re
sult, compel higher livestock stand
ards which is Invariably tho fore
runner of stabilized agriculture and
prosperity. The coming of pure-bred
sires Into this Western country has
been the chief factor thus far in
bringing about better methods of
farming and ranching. From tho
Market Examiner. '

for ono week.
Uefore breakfast each day, drink a
glass of reul hot water with a ten

is a harmless means of washing from

tho previous day's Indigestible waste,

sweetening and purifying tho entire

hot water and llmestono phosphate on
on empty stomach U wonderfully In
vigorating. It cleans out all the sour

gives one a splendid appetite for

A quarter pound of llmestono phos
