year. The total, 264, Is one In excess

The report shows that Portland's
23 banks and tf rust companies on tho

$163,321,310, or 05 per cent of the
state total. Deposits were $140,299,
968 or more than 57 per cent of the
state total. Loans and discounts
amounted to $78,061,262, or 53 per
cent of all bank's In the state.
