"That the Business Men's Associa
tion of the City of Klamath Falla
earnestly protests against thepropos-
ed Increase In the charge for busl-
ness telephones, made in violation ot
the franchise granted to the Pacific
.Telephone and Telegraph company by
the city of Kuamath Falls, because w
' believe the increase unnecessary an
unjust; that If the Pacific Telephona
j and Telegraph company persists la
the collection of this unfair charge.
(.we urge upon the city council to take
! steps towards the Immediate con-
j struction of a municipal system: and
1 that the president appoint a commit-
tee to act with the secretary of this
association, to take an immediate ap
peal to the Public Service Commis
sion to rescind this increase. Insofar
as it applies to Klamath Falls."
