TERTAINKD UNDER AUSPICES OF MUSICAL STUDY CLUB, SAT URDAY AFTERNOON. One of the mos tenjoyable events ot the season was the musical recital by Mrs. A. J. Voye, assisted by Harry Borel, Mrs. Surge W. Mason and Mrs. Charles Wood Eberlein, under the auspices ot the Musical Study club, Saturday afternoon at the Whits Pelican hotel. . Between 50 and 75 ot the city's music lovers assembled in the bis dining room where the program was commenced about 3 o'clock. Mrs. Voye's charming voice, the quality ot, which is well known tn this city, was never In better .condition, and the variation ot the program by Mr. Borel on the violin and Mrs. Mason on the. piano, both ot whom have advanced tar beyond the stage'ot ordinary ar tists on their respective Instruments, made the afternoon one long to bo remembered. The final selection by Mrs. Voye, "Aria," by Verdi, waa de serving ot especial mention, as it was beautifully rendered.
