include small detachments of the 91st
Division mostly officers of the 347th
and 24Sth Field Artillery. Moro of
the 91st Division came on the "Lib
eiator" from St. Nazlare and'Oris

Included the 364th infantry and head
quarters, also members of the 34 3th
Machine Gun battalion of the Medical
ordinance departments.
Among the officers of the 34S Ma
chine Gun Battalion on the Otisaba
was Lieut. W, L. H. Osborno of Rose
burg, who said that the battalion had
suffered neatly 300 casualties, of
whom forty were killed.
Chaplain John W. Beard, former
pastor at Hoqulnm, Washington re
turned with a French War Cross for
carrjlng wounded to safety thru

past few days Interviewing promi
nent men and working out tho plans
which it was requested to formulate.
They are keenly enthusiastic over
the launching of a new body, realiz
ing (hat never before havo the needa
for such work been seen in this dis
trict. Whatever may be done without
a live commerce body In the way of
development, could be Increased
many fold thru Its aid, the members
assert.
One change has been indicated in
the new plans whereby the member
ships will be based on a ten dollar
unit, rather than having the twelve
and twenty-five dollar memberships
as formerly obtained.
