their lands. If it does not heed the
warning, it will find itself driven
frm this community, its present
plant as so much junk, nnd a future
that holds promise of immense busi
ness destroyed. This is a broad state
ment, and we will be surpriso if it Is
heeded, but! we will guarantee that
before the year Is out It will know
that it was no idle boast. The peo
plo of Klamath County have had all
of this sort 'of trickery they are go
ing to stand, and it Is a wise man who
knows when he has gone far
enough.
As to Mr.' Bradbury, The Herald
wants to see him In as president of
the Klamath Irrigation district, and
It further wants to see him name his
assistants. The present directors
have declared that u mistake has
"been made In the granting of the con
tract, nnd since they failed in their
efforts to stop It, then It is up to
them to step asido and let a man take
the lead who has the courage to
openly defy the opposition that has
been raised against him, nnd who the
Herald knows will win for the people I
of tho project in a struggle that de
mands no wavering and calls for the
leadership of a man who has the
courage of his convictions and tho!
backbone to stand up and fight for!
