Is thirteen an unlucky number or
is It a lucky number? This ls a ques
tion over which there has been much
discussion for a long time, but If
you put the matter up to Homer
Garich or Raymond Hilton you will
probably have an argument on hand
If you assume the negative side.
Homer and Raymond were each thir
teen years old last Saturday. In hon
or of this event Mrs. Garich gave
them u birthday party at the Garich
home on Ninth and High at which
the good things usually set forth at
such events were appreciated heartily
To cup the climax, Mrs, Hilton gave
the boys another spread In tho way
of a Sunday dinner. If this life or
that of the future holds forth any
thing more blissful in prospect than
u birthday dinner to a boy of the age
of thirteen, we have not seen It in
the catalogues.
