Treasury to have their coupon bond
registered altho the procedure re

expense for the government now that
the number of bond owners runs
above thirty million. The registra
tion can be arranged at moat bank,
and Is done wltkout cost to the own
er. After registration. If a bond la
accidentally lost, stolen, er destroyed
the government will pay It at matur
ity Just the tame, and Interest checks
.wilt be mailed to tho bond owner
twice a year without requiring him
to go to the trouble of clipping cou
pons and presenting them at a bank.
