MIX-UP IN DRAFT NAMES A mix-up over one of the draft men called for next week has arisen between the local board and the dis trict board. Delbert F. White was among the names received from the district bonrd to go on October 3d, and his notice was accordingly sent with the others. Ho has come forward, however, with an exemption granted by the district board, and Is at a loss over what to do In the matter. White Is an employe of the mills at Shlpplngton. Ho Is married, and has a child dependent upon him for sup port. It Is believed that the district board granted his exemption and neg, lerted to take his namo fcom tho list of those called. OSCAR PEYTON SELLS HOME Oscar Peyton has sold his home in Hot Springs Addition to P. L. Hinkley and wife of Paisley, Ore. The consid eration involved Is not announced. Mr. Hinkley will not occupy the prop, erty, but has rented it to Mr. B. New, ton, who expects to move in as soon as the property Is vacated by Mr. Pey, ton's family, which will be the latter part of October. PLEASANT PARTY LAST NIGHT A very pleasant dinner party was given for Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Seehorn last evening, the occasion being their twenty-eighth wedding anniversary.
