two days much wild game was de
stroyed. Hundreds of Jack rabbits.
doves and quail were killed, especial.

No bunting has been allowed on

and the game has increased astly In
number.
Men who were fighting the fire
said that even jack rabbits wero
burned while running away from the
blaze. The doves and quail were ap
parently dazed by the fire, and many
were burned while not flying.
