that all was not entirely satisfactory.

KELSO. Wash., July 20. The
plant of the Eufala Lumber company,
which employs between 275 and 300
mill hand and loggers was partially
Idle Wednesday as the result of a
strike said to be of I. W. W. origin.
Tuesday night two men, said to
have been I. W. W. agitators, ad
dressed the men, urging them to
strike and to demand "ten hour' pay
for eight hour' work."
One hundred and fifty of the men
decided to try it, aad refuted to go
to work Wednesday morning. Alex
ander McCracken, mill superintend
ent. does not expect to have any
trouble In replacing the strikers.
The mill ships Its log to Eastern
and Western Lumber company of
Portland.
