Dog Killed
by Bite ot
Mad Coyote
The dog belonging to P. W. Snyder
of Swan lake valley, which was bitten
by a rabid coyote 25 days ago. yester
day developed rabies, according to Mr.
Sn)der. The dog baa been locked up
and will be killed by Mr. Snyder.
The head of the coyote which bit
the dog' was sent to Portland and an
examination showed the presence of
rabies.
Mr. Snder sa)g Swan Lake Valley
is thick with coyotes and as rabies
has been found among them be fears
for his livestock. He raises thorough
bred cattle and the loss of even one
animal would be very large.

Falls for next season, when articles of
incorporation for the Oregon-California
Box company were signed and sent to
