To the Public; The Klamath Motorcycle Club takes this means of letting the public know that Carl Schubert being rejected aa a club member does not bar him from the race. We regret Mr. Veghte'a Inability to ride In the race, and would Ilka Mr. Schubert to enter. L. B. DECKER, President Motorcycle Club. (Paid Advertisement) . K RACE NOT FAD I take this means to Inform the public of the facts concerning the motorcycle race given by the Klamath Motorcycle Club Sunday. I am the agent for the Indian Mo torcycle, which has a reputation as a world beater, and as I am just recov ering from nine weeks' illness, I am unable physically to ride my Indian demonstrator In the race. I am a member"of the Klamath Motorcycle Club, In good standing, and explained to the 'club members my inability to participate in tne race. My employe, Carl Schubert Jr., who bad the Indian agency prior to me, was Induced by me to make applica tion for membership in the said club, which was accompanied by a check for $5, which was to cover member ship and entrance fees In the race. He was refused entry, and the check was returned to him. The boys of the Motorcycle Club are afraid of Schubert mounted on a 1916 Powerplus Indian. This machine has done 72 miles'on the road. Com part this machine to the 1914, which be rode last year, which would only do 65 miles. I do not consider I am getting a fair deal In this matter, and would like to have a chance tdbe represent ed in this race, and use a local rjder, whom J have named. KLAMATH SPORTSMAN'S STORE E. B. Her gowns have made millions gasp by their beauty and dar ing as well as by their dauling lav lsbness of design. . In making her screen debut in "The Soul of Broad way," the latest of the great William Fox photodramas Hlsa Buratt has out done all her previous efforts in gowns and millinery, fashioned by famous modistes. In all she wears 160 gowns, some daringly and uniquely simple; others that are calculated to make the femin ine portion of her spectators break unlike anything yet seen la a motion picture, and were especially designed for William Fox by a celebrated artist of the ultra modern school.
