Eight unlnstructed del e gates were selected and the conven tion adopted this resolutien: We look with confidence to the republican national convention to nominate a presidential candidate that will inspire and unify all patri otic citizens who believe in protection, prosperity and preparedness, and who will secure for all Americans, at home and abroad, protection for life and property.'' The delegation from Florida is said to be made up of representative and responsible republicans who may be depended upon to find, in the field of candidates, exactly the kind of man for a leader whom their resolution describes. In fact, that is the kind of man whom all republicans everywhere wish to put at the head of the ticket this year. No other kind of a man can possibly win a nomination in a convention such as we shall have this jear. It will bo a convention free from acrimony and scandal. It will be animated by sincere and patriotic purposes, shared alike by the first delegates to be chosen, and by the last as well. United Press Service WASHINGTON, D. C, Feb. 34. Feed prices are estimated at $25 a ton or a little more for grain, and 25c per hundred pounds ror skim milk. "Very few hogs, however," says E. L. Potter, of the Oregon Agricultural College experiment station, "are fed on skim milk purchased for the pur pose. The hogs are produced gener ally by dairymen who have this skim milk available, and must find a mar ket for it. Consequently, if they feed It to their hogs, and by this method market It at 25c a hundred they are In most cases that much ahead. They would In no wise bejustlfled in quit ting the hog business and throwing away that skim milk, especially as there seems to bo no other outlet for the surplus." 75c JAM "ROSE BRAND" 6-ox.
