w are inclined to believe, one of the
most pleasant in the history of Keno,
took place last Saturday evening In
tho Padgett ball, when the basket-
hall boys of Klamath Falls met those
of Keno in a hotly contested battle
for laurels.
Two games were played, one be
tween the public school teams, and
the other between a team consisting
of three of the "Kewples" and two of
the high school team. Our public
school team won over Klamath Falls
school by a score of twenty-five to
twenty-eight polnto, being largely
composed of field goals, as there were
but few fouls thrown. The Klamath
Falls larger team won over Keno by
a score of thirteen to thirty-eight.
We think wo have never seen a
more likely bunch and one that could
stand defeat and better than the
Klamath Falls public school boy.
Nothing but the best of feeling seem
ed to pervade tho atmosphere at tho
close of the games.
We would not close without speak
ing of tho work of our faithful
referee, Prof. W. C. Morris, who
stands "four square" to tho world,
nnd whom w think no ono could but
be the bettor for having met.
Here's hoping that Klamath Fall
may have Just as agreeable time
when they meet tho Merrill bunch
this evening as w enjoyed last Sa
turday evening. -We
hope at an early date to meet
the boys in another friendly' con-
teat.

effective way to break a cold and cure
grip, a it opens the pore of the skin,
relieving congestion. Also loosens the
bowcla, thuB driving a cold from the

Try it the next time you suffer from
a cold or the grip. It la inexpensive
