week was the "measuring social" at-
the Christian church Friday erenlug,
given under the auspices of the Chris
tian Women's Hoard ot Missions. Au
orchestra of nine pieces, under the
direction ot I'rofessor (1. A. Wlrts,
rendered two selections, to the delight
nf all. Mesdames lleckley and Dan
iels rendered a duet entitled "Home
time. Somewhere." Different coun
tries were represented when called
for by Mrs. It. II. Dunbar, secretary
of the organisation, by the following
