housewives In a house-to-house can
vass before she went to the loop dis
trict to attend matters connected with
her law business.
On her way to the loop district the
woman candidate was hailed by a
number of teamsters, to whom she
has become a familiar sight working
In the business streets of the ward.
At one corner she stopped to chat
with a mounted policeman to learn
some facts about the policing ot the
ward. Miss Drake baa been Joined In
her campaign work by a number of
her close friends. They gather dally
with her at head quarter.
