FRAME BUILDING STILL ON CORNER PERMIHMION GIVKN BY- COUNCIL TO HHIFT O. K. TRANSFER OO.fl OKFICK ON CONDITIONS WHICH ARK NOT LIVED DP TO Some month ago th old city coun cil gave permission that th O. K. Transfer company'a oBce, then on Main street, on the lot Just west of the comer of Sixth street, could be moved temporarily to th corner lot, which was then vacant. The repre sentation wa made to th council that the transfer company bad a lease on the building which had not ex pired, and that the owner of th lot wanted to put up a saw building In stead of tha on story frame. He could not. It waa said, oust the tiansfer people, but aa arrangement could be mad to shift th frame building oa th adjoining lot, be longing to a man named Bristol, until tha lease expired. Thl arrangement would make It possible for the build ing's owner to build a new structure. The frame building waa shunted to the corner lot, the new brick building was put up, and Is now occu pied by tha Majestic theater. The frame building waa to have been re moved from the corner lot by June Id. This Is August Htb. The frame building reposes in perfect safety on the corner lot, and th O. K.
