afternoon, bringing with him samples
of ore found In the shaft now being
sunk In the prospect on the Smith dry
ranch, about t miles east of thla
city. The specimen Is clean shipping
galena.

ore In stringers," said Mr. Smith,
I "and are now drifting to strike tne
lead. We have found aome very Una
rubles. In the shaft recently, and this,
we think. Is a good Indication."
