An event of great theatrical Inter
est was the dramatic production of
tho Noah's Ark episode presented by
Wlnnsrd & Fleet recently In tbo largo
duck natntorlum here, sometimes

of nn ark a load of hay and six horses
wcro used, and although tho flood
waters only reached waist deep on a
horse, tho play was well staged ana
considerable talent displayed. Pol

Judgo Worden was In tho valley
April 9th, and held a road meeting at
tho l.orella school bouse. As several
new roads are under discussion there
was a good number of ranchers pres
ent, nnd a great deal of Interest man
ifested. M. L. Anderson bos just finished
seeding Quito n largo tract to alfalfa.
This, though comparatively a new
crop for this locality, gives promise
of becoming the staple crop. T. K.
I'-oggs also has prepared a fine reed
bed for the purposo of sowing alfala
Miss Lou Ilussey and Douglas Bus-
sey visltod Pine Grove last Saturday
to attend a social at that place.
