money la now on hand. Originally
It waa proposed to lay the founda
tion this year, but when we looked
Into the matter It was decided that
wo had better not construct Jt this

bo too heavy a burden for the tax
payer to pay. We believe, however,
that tho levy next year will, with the
funds now on hand, be sufficient to
lay the foundation and complete the

Oregon Medical association Informing
him that he had been appointed chair
man or the committee on public

and Dr. Hester of Jacksonville.
Dr. Pickle of Medford Is chairman
of the social and entertaining com
ralttcc, with Drs. Seely and Lock
wood of Medford as his associates.
