OPPER LAKE NOTES.
Tho Upper Lako Is lightly froxen
again but boats succeed In plowing
through.
Work on the Long Lake milling
plant has been temporarily suspend
ed. Bad weather is the reason.
The big animal reported to have
boen seen on Upper Lake a few weeks
ago has uot appeared since the lc
broke up, and is supposed to have
been a hypporlmus that has taken up
restdenco in the deep water some
where near Bear Island.
