No more of the simple life for
Hetty Green, the richest woman
in the world. From a $19 a
month flat she has moved into a
930 a day apartment in the new
Plaza Hotel, recently completed
at a cost of $12,000,000, and
henceforth she will be surround
ed by all the luxuries that aro
enjoyed in New York's mag
nificent hostelries. New York
has it that she is ambitious to
enter the "400,' and shine with
the elite. It is further reported
that Mrs. Green has bought her
first silk dress and that she is
contemplating the purchase of
an automobile. Instead of con
tinuing her custom of eating
meals ai the cost of a few cents
a day she will now pay big
prices for dishes with funny
names, as guests of the New
Plaza are wont to do. j
