The Ashland Fruit Association is load
ing a car of Salway ¡»caches today, whose
destination is I.os Angeles, and which is
the second car they have loaded this
week. The crop of Silways was never
lietter, either in quality or quantity,
than it is this year, and the price* prom
ise to l»e a little higher than those
obtained for the Late Crawfords. The
latter variety and the Muirs have l»een
gathered, ami the Association’s shipment
of the two varieties combined were
about 15,000 boxes. The Y2,****** boxes of
Early Crawfords marketed by the Asso
ciation are being settled for with the
growers, ami the av< rage prices obtained
were for fancies, 62 cents; and for As, 47
cents. Apples are coming in freelv and
there will l*e a numt>er of carloads sliip-

to San Francisco anti other points south.
