C. Vroman a successful miner and one
of the progressive citizens of Gold Hill,
was in Jacksonville Saturday. Mr. Vro-
man states that there is much activity in
the mining industry about Gold Hill and
the prospect is good that by another year
there will lie several large quartz mills in

causes for this impetus to the mining
business is the opportunity of securing
cheap power for operating nulls, hoists,
etc. that will soon t>e had from the big
electric power station that is soon to l>e
erected at Golrl Hill by a company of
Milwaukee, Wis. capitalists. As a result
