Walter Applegate, deputy connty re­
corder, spent the Fourth at Ashland with
his parents.
Dr. and MrsR. G. Gale were in Med­
ford Wednesday evening the guests for
dinner of Dr. and Mrs. W. L. Cameron.
Charles Morgan, residing near Tolo,
brought his wile to Jacksonville Thurs­
day Im examination as to her sanity.
Mrs. Morgan was taken before Connty
Judge Prim and an examination conduct­
ed by Dr. R. G. Gale with the result
that she was ordered remitted to the
State Asylum at Sahin.
Sheriff Rader
with Mr. Morgan to assist him left with
Mrs. Morgan by the afternoon train for
Sah in. .Mrs. Morgan has been suffering
for the past vear with mental troubles
and each attack has grown more severe,
until her husband was induced to scud
her to the asylum. Iler insanity is of a
mild type and is supposed to Is- caused
by an ovarian disease and it is thought
that her cure will lie readily effected by
