In moving sgslnst the mayor An offi cial note of Inquiry was sent by the Mexican embassy to the Secretary of Hlate of the United Staten on Sep tember 19, requesting full reports on the alleged deportation of Mexican cltlxens from the Pennsylvania steal town. The embassy further announc ed It had instructed the Mexican con sulate at Philadelphia to proceed to Johnstown and report. The embassy contended the mayor had no legal authority to cxpell peaceful Mexican residents. GEE WO MEDICINE Rev. I. A. Moore, former pastor ot Zion A. M. E.
