merly Assistant Consul General for

West Africa, Monrovia, returned with

residence of eighteen years in the Ne­
gro republic, Dr. anud Mrs. Reed

church and have continued their ser­
vice in this capacity throughout their
sojourn there.
Dr. Reed has been very ably as­
sisted in his work by his accom­

from active educational work and
