HOW TOlClE ISOLATED TRACTS Applications to have iaulatcd tracts ordered into market must be filed with the register and receiver of the local land ollice in the diatrict where the lands are situated. The applicant mutt deposit with the receiver, n the form of ranh or postal money crder, an amount equal to the value of ttie land baaed upon the minimum price fixed for public: lands which will be ordinari ly tl.Uii per acre, or S2 BO per acre if within railroad limits, or such price as may be fixed byapecial utalute govern ing the deposition of the land pplied for. The receiver will ifsue receipt therefor and deposit the money to his credit as "unearned money." Should the applicant be the successful bidder at the sale, he will be given creiit on the amount bid tor the sum deposited with his application, and the receiver will atiply the same a a part of the purchase money. If applicant is not the successful bidder, the receiver will return the sum deposited by his official check. Should the applicant withdraw his deposit, bis action will be treated as a withdrawal of the application for sale and will be promptly also reported by the locsl officers.
