Klamath Herald: J. F. Kimball last
week received one of the finest canoes
ever brought Into Klamath county.
Tbe canoe was secured through the
Baldwin Hardware company, and was
built to Mr. Kimball's order by the
Stephenson conoern in Norway, Maine.
It la 17 feet long, and, being of can
vass, is extremely light, but will carry
seven passengers comfortably.

John Murphy, a sheepbereder, waa
discharged from the local hospital sev
eral days ago after suffering from a
aevere attack of rheumatism. He is
now feeling considerably better, al

Ex-Mayor Fred T. Sanderson, of
Klsmatb Falls, died in Ashland June
30, of appendicitis. His death was very
sudden. For the paat eight years Mr.
Sanderson bad been prominent in the
upbuildine of Klamath Falla and hia
death will be a shock to that city.
