Unaueetionablv a number ot these ex ploiters will be among the early ar rivals, locating somewhere bandv that thev may get to prospecting lust the moment the snow will permit. Tbe same applies in tbe esse of (kilorado Springs, where several of tbe big Cripple Creek operators have express ed themselves that tbey will become interested, either going themselves or outfitting reliable prospectors. One large grubstake syndicate is being or ganized at Colorado Springs. Cripple Creek mining people will not unlikely precipitate tbe rush to tbe diggings. Here apparently ia the strongest interest and it ia theorized that if any number ot Cripple Creek men start to "hike." that other centers will at once get bus v. with the result that trails will be made over the snow. and perhaps snow locutions will be attempted on tbe open ground. Apparently people in the district and neighboring towns are expecting a rush, and thev are arranging to handle it Altura. is the point from which they have been stageing it into Fort Bid- well, and a recent letter from there savs- "This trio can only be made now by horse stage, tbe snow Is too deeo for autoa. However, there la a line of autos here ready to handle the rush, and think thev will start them about May 1st and perhaps earlier." Fort Bidwell correspondence indicates too that a rush ia expected by tnese people, and an important annnounce mont is made. A atage line will be estsbliehed bv auto from Willow Ranch on tbe N.-C.-O. railway, ten miles south of New Pine Creek. This stage will carry passensera and mail on tbe arrival of every train, and they will reach f ort Bidwell the same day pas sengers from tbe south arrive at New Pine Creek, and Lakeview. Oregon. A big sign at Willow Ranch will proclaim "This Way for Fort Bidwell and High Grade."
