Assistant Ranger Farl Abbott, who
la la charge, of the Fremont National
Forest on the West Side, announces
that on the second and fourth Wednes
days of each mo.ith, beginning with
July 12th he will meet at the Oregon
Valley Land Company ' aawmill all

! mits to cut timber within the Forest.
The Thursday and Friday evening
performances at the Opera House,
which included pictures ofJUncle Tom's
Cabin, were well attended and the films
. were much enjoyed by all who had an
opportunity to see them. Between
reels, picture of a circus parade in
Madras as well as views of the town
itself were shown, and Miss Hattio
' Nyswancr entertained with a solo.
