With the advent of the railroad will control the trade of the 75,000 acres of this rich valley, enormous bodies of timber to the west, the reat winter rane to the north and the promising old run mines to the east. This is the point on the railroad location where they have located the town for this valley and surrounding country, and on account of grades ami curvature is the ONLY practical location. John P. Stevens, Hill's chief engineer, lately said: "Central and Southern Ore tfon is an empire capable of sustaining a population the size of Portland." Where will this population be? In a levy natural locations. We have one. Chewaucan Valley, according to Government records, is two degrees wanner all year, has more rainfall, and is 500 feet lower than Goose Lake Vallev. t This comparison is with one of the best valleys. Invest a small amount now and secure big returns when the railroads and this 1 '.''population comes. Our town is laid out in uu attractive and up-to-date manner. Just a few of '". - the very best lots now, for sale at a low figure. M I S E N E R ! SEE ' .
