Kelley, of Paisley, wanted to do the

given permission, and told to hurry,

Tbe hours flew by and no Kelley,
nor bear. Ingram thought perhaps
Kelley bad called some ooe "Thou,
old bald Heau" aome day and that
tbe bear bad eaten him up. A posse
waa started out to bout bim, aod
after an absence of 36 hours, be was
found nearly starred and with bia
throat all swelled and parched, a be
bad nothing to eat after be got lost.
Meanwhile be insisted he bad killed
from one to a dozen bear and bad
eaten them alL
Another chap, named McMillan, of
Prineriile, started out to find bia
horse just outside of camp; and that
waa tbe last seen of bim. until another
posse located bim in a dazed condition
next morning. He thought be waa a
goner, and bad written a note to bia
mother aaying: "1 am lost. Rather
than atarre 1 ahall hang myself."
The boys got hold of it and bad end
less sport at bis expense.

writes Sam A Caiber, a well known
travelog man. "I was in the smoking
department with aome other traveling
men when one of them went out into
the coach and came back and said,

bottle to the husband to be used in

Grande she was all right and I receiv
ed tbe thanks of every passenger in the
