TRAIN 0' THOUGHT.
An Interesting Cam That Requires
Nimble Wits.
A good game for players of nimble
wits Is called train o' thought
Hero the hostess or the leader be
gins by announcing a word, which all
players write at the heud of their tab
lets. Afterward each player writes below
It In a straight line words representing
tho different places, things, persons or
abstract subJectB suggested by It
A rough example of a train ot
thought and of the distance which It
can cover In the space of a few mo
ments would be:
Shakespeare. Stratford, European
travel. Warwick festival, Idy War
wick, progressive new women. Colora
do, Kan Francisco, earthquakes, Chile,
revolution, Russia, czar, Louis XVI..
etc.
At the end of fifteen mlnatcs papers
are collected, and tho different tracks
followed by the trains of thought will
bo found very fun provoking.
No prize Is attached to this game.
Each player after receiving bis word
continues to write connecting links un
til the bell sounds as a signal for dis
continuance. All begin with the same word and
invariably end up differently.
